Trolling the newbs on BC's facebook page reminds me of the glory days of Netphoria. It's all too easy.

Glory days were the Moonkids spies, Billy's hacked AOL account, and the upping of Mashed Potatoes, when 133+ still meant something.

Of course, we've had a few moments of brilliance since then, such as the 2007 studio "break in" with all the leaked pictures and such. We deserve our bastardly reputation!

Im sure his facebook page has much more visits than his twitter.

Its kinda bizarre how close you became of your 'idols' nowadays.

Moonkids published the exact address of Billy's victorian house in the Wrigley area of Chicago, along with pictures, on the internet. I believe he was threatened with legal action.

I kind of lost interest in the pumpkins about 6 years ago...I guess I was not depressed anymore and the music didn't really apply to my life anymore x) But Billy on facebook caught my eye, but I thank netphoria for reminding me what kind of person he really is...

The contrast between what he posts on Facebook and Twitter vs. what he actually says in interviews is pretty interesting. Here is the interview posted on the SP3 Facebook page today:

He doesn't spout the same flowers and sunshine and chemtrails and tee hee hee lolz in actual interviews, he speaks more like his old self. Weird

You know what? Looking back at it all, It's all really pointless. It seems, now, like a big waste of time and energy. I listen to MP now and it's like "wtf? I gave a shit about this enough to actually write about it?"

If you're going to be an active solo artist or you're in a "famous" band whom has been around X amount of years, might as well embrace your past material and not be so hesitant to performing the material - especially deep cuts and fan favorites. He should be embracing and respecting the fact that people even bother to request songs on his Facebook page instead of making sarcastic comments about snarks and how people live in the past. This is where Billy is totally out of touch with most of his fanbase... you know, the ones who don't hang on his ball sack like leeches praising all the shit he does now.

Maybe a song-by-song review of the whole thing? I dunno...but that's the sort of activity that sad teenage fanboys enjoy. I still really enjoy the music on MP, however.

Anyway, this was in the day when obtaining a SINGLE song taxed most people's datastream so badly they probably couldn't even navigate this board and download at the same time.
