i think those are the leaks by the band that tried to pass themselves off as SP back in '06

edit:
http://www.spin.com/features/everybo...shingpumpkins/

the torrent has the same fake song titles
"Collapsing Cities," "In the Eyes Beholding," "The Restless World," and "Siam Mais"

i don't know about the ransom tracks. it wasn't released under the name of the pumpkins, but they used to play some of these live.
yea i agree. the side project and remix stuff would just ruin the flow. especially when there are like 7 remixes or the same song in a row. what ill do is end up putting all that stuff in a seperate collection. probably have a b-sdies collection, remix collection, and side project collection.

Sure I'd be interested if it was all lossless. I have nearly a lot of these tracks aside from the vinyls but I've never bothered ripping it all.

I'd really be most interested in SPVC tho. I only have a few mp3s sourced from it I downloaded back in the day.

anyway, that compilation looks a lot like what we're going for, i guess.
some songs can be upgraded with a cd sourced version. and we could add age of i (acoustic) to the list. and maybe bullet (live). or, if someone has that promo acetate cd, ava adore (live) too.

oh actually it's mostly all cd sourced, i just put 7" to indicate their original release format (actually i realise a couple are from itunes)

technically, age of innocence was released as 'billy corgan' too

I'm fairly certain that these were a Starseed project. I can't remember. All I know is that I'd never heard rips better than these ones before.

these can be added to "not sure to add/just live":
- rocket (onxrt)
- spaceboy (nme brat pack - cassette)
- bullet (launch)
- age of i (live x)

and what are mandocello and if you want my love? i don't think i know those.

i don't think that belongs on this compilation. if i'm not mistaken, this compilation tries to include official releases that aren't on any of the main releases (the albums, pisces, tafh, rotten apples, judas o).

http://www.spfc.org/songs-releases/d...?discog_id=117

althought from the description i dont think it sounds like it qualifies. i thought it was a live cover but i guess they are just in the band.

and thats why im not sure to include mayonaise because its on MP and i dont know if i really want to include live versions of the songs. but then i really think daydream should be included.

maybe we can add an extra disc with the live songs?
might depend on how nicely the "real" b-sides (not live songs) fill the first disc(s).

Thanks.

also, i was looking for opinions on tracklisting. i was gonna just put them in chronological order like ultra rare tracks but the more i think about it the more i think it would be better to put them in a more aesthetically pleasing flow of sorts. as if it were PI or Judas O. also i think a cool name (possibly in the tradition of PI or Judas O) would be merited.
