Yeah it sounds like an acid trip. The lyrics are just stream of consciousness. Seems to cover a lot of feelings in child abuse. I love how the ending sounds like infinity and the void. Crazy how even a one off track like this has that og SP magic.

I don't remember there being lyrics, just odd Billy notes about each song in the album booklet, but I've just taken a minute to check 5 lyrics sites (3 generic and 2 pumpkins specific spfc and spcodex) and they all say "no this and no that". Granted one may be copying another, but still. I can't see a record of your interpretation anywhere.

"this and that" is a general small talk saying in itself - "What have you been doing lately?" "Oh, this and that" so it makes sense in that regard, though I don't think any of it makes any real sense as it's Billy word salad before we realised word salad was his thing and we all thought his lyrics were cool and thought provoking.

Definitely is "no this and no that". Like, it's a spoken word track. Even at that point with the song spinning off the rails, yeah.

Grabbed my Pisces vinyl reissue and it has all the lyrics, save Spaced. Weird.

I isolated the vocals with Moises and I still hear the hard ‘f’ and then the ‘ix and then ‘end’. Ymmv. With the fx on the vocals it’s hard to say definitively. Would have to ask the man himself. It makes more sense as an expression of the futility of existence this way… a million piece jigsaw puzzle with no fix and no end.

This is with the instruments lowered. For some the reason the last part was getting cut off when I isolated the vocal completely.

It never occurred to me before the livestream that Spaced might be musically connected to Spaceboy... it fit so well at the end, I wonder if that little ditty for "Spaced" was perhaps originally a jam at the end of Spaceboy

Hard to tell, as Spaceboy was predominantly acoustic with the mellotron, whereas the guitars on Spaced are electric.
