Smile My Thoughts on the Denver Show Last Night!

Me and my Dad got to see all 4 bands perform at Coors Field last night and it was awesome! I was mainly there for SP, but every band played really well.

The Linda Lindas only played for 20 minutes, and I'm not huge on them, but they surprised me a lot with how good they sounded live. Will definitely give their new album a chance when it drops.

Rancid was awesome! They played a lot of songs I wanted to hear live, which made me pretty happy lol. Those guys still got it after all these years. I wish I could've heard more from them though.

The Smashing Pumpkins were fantastic. My Dad, who has seen the band twice prior to this show, said this was the best performance he had ever seen of the band! Really enjoyed Jimmy's drum solo. Dude is a beast! This wasn't my first time seeing the band live, but it was the first time I was old enough to remember it lol!

Green Day had a super long set but they kept the energy up and that is awesome. Really enjoyed their show a lot! I had no idea how many touring members they have too.

Overall, I'd highly recommend going to one of these shows. They're really fun and highly energetic. Even if you're mainly there for SP like I was, you'll still have a lot of fun.

Yep, and judging by the way you're acting, you clearly never had one!!

Also I only mentioned my Dad two times when I started this thread, so I have no idea what your problem is, unless you're just trolling.

Question

Elliott, I want to believe you that it was a great show. I do. But it says right there that you're crazy [one]. Maybe your dad could post here and confirm your opinion?

It's cool to know that as a youngster you're feeling the same kind of excitement I felt. Makes me feel kinda "not crazy" if you know what I mean. Like there are others out there who share your world.

Glad you enjoyed the show, I've seen the Pumpkins and Green Day this year on their own separate shows, and both shows were great. Yes they're old, yes it's choreographed, broadway yadda yadda, but they rocked.

Your Dad probably rocks too, fuck these nerds.

Regardless of whether it was 2 mentions or 3, still not that many, and certainly not that big of a deal lol. Get a life.

For sure! I agree that it's nice to find people who feel the same about a band the way you do! I'd honestly see all 4 bands again if ever given a chance! They had high energy performances and that's what made it fun! I need to be in the pit next time though haha!

I saw them in ‘00, ‘07 & ‘24.

My dad says they were best in ‘07 and I’m inclined to agree although he has never seen them live and he listens to Adele.

It took me a few moments to adjust to the positivity on here, but glad you enjoyed the show. Don't let the haters grind you down or secretly trick you into giving them your hot dads number.
