Vinyl-to-digital transfer conducted in April 2021 from one of the 25 official CR-04 12" double LPs at the correct speed (33⅓ rpm). No AI programs/enhancements/filters were utilized in the process.

Missed potential, all that could have been, etc?

I hope we can get this in FLAC somehow it's definitely an upgrade.

and how fucking cool this band was for releasing a free online album for public distribution before almost anyone else had ever done that. now it's all about limited releases through the tea shop

It would seem so.. I would love to hear it un-YouTube'd to be sure but it's promising as hell.

I should already know this but the versions of Lucky 13 and Slow Dawn on Judas 0 - are they higher quality than any existing MII rip available, or were they the same as the vinyl rips doing the rounds? Don’t think I heard much difference at the time.

Wow this sounds good. Noticeably better quality than previous circulated transfers.

This is all I wanted from the Machina reissue so I guess that’s all folks. Pack up and go home.

The vocals on White Spyder are noticeably clearer for one.

This is the third best Pumpkins album behind MCIS and SD.

Just wish there was a slightly cleaner Real Love, or at least one with more dynamic application of le fuzz.

this is a real monkey paw situation.
you get a nice new machina ii rip.
but you can only listen to it compressed via youtube in 128kbps

there are only 25 copies of the vinyl set, and not all of them have left billy's vault as far as we know, so maybe it won't be too hard to find the source of this rip from 2021?

The drumming at the end of BSBT Heavy.

White Spyder sounds better than ever.

Crazy was out in the wild 3 years ago and slipped under the radar.

Also, weird that a 25 year wait ends like this.

Unless the eventual Machina reissue has cleaned up mixes that were never previously released this is it! Biggest SP news since the Adore reissue and it casually slips out on YT one Friday.

Quite surprising when you think about it that they haven't done an authentic reissue vinyl full press of Machina 2, not in a boxset format but as it came out in 2000

Would be such a popular release, I'd love to own it

The other records were transferred in 2024. Interesting...
