Unhappy SomaPhreak's Lament

What a depressing show in Seattle. Begin with TEG, Doomsday Clock, and Zoo Station, play a lifeless Today, then That Which Animates the Spirit? Crowd pleasing stuff. Then uninspired hits by numbers and the boring new one. Dead crowd. Then wrestlers during Cherub Rock - so cringe. Then Billy's guitar goes out during the last part of Zero.

Jellybelly kicked ass though, and the crowd had the phone lights out for Disarm. James sounded excellent throughout, and Kiki has great stage presence (although Billy seemed irritated with her several times).

Next up stadium tour with My Chemical Romance for MCIS anniversary ...

Katie Cole said it was an incredible show, like a hometown show, on Instagram...

Who are we to believe, SomaFPHREEEK or KC?

In what way did Billy seem mad at the Keekster?

It's a super aggressive start to a setlist - wonder if they'll pull out more AMM on the next tour? Maybe not? It's just tricky. They really need to do a long club tour and do some more challenging/adventurous setlists. They are beyond talented enough to do it... why they don't is beyond me.

Money/ego/being older would probably be the three factors unfortunately

Why schlep around the clubs when they can do arenas? I don't think they feel like they have to prove anything at this point. Would love to be wrong and get smaller shows and a more interesting set though, I didn't enjoy the last o2 set much.
