Default AMM - Physical Release Day Gripes

Not sure that this deserves it's own thread, but...

Why is it taking THAT long for the physical release to come out? Album hits streaming about two months ago. I ordered the vinyl from Zuzu's. It sells out.

Just thought tonight "hey, when's that record coming again?"

Yeahhhh - NOVEMBER. Like, end of November. Thanksgiving-November.

Sure, I guess I get vinyl (shortages, et al) - but this four month wait really isn't doing anything on my end to keep stoke levels on this one up.

What (if any) physical media did you pre-order, people?

i mean the november date was listed ever since the pre-order went up.
it sounds to me like they went ahead with digital release pretty much as soon as it was ready.
it takes time for vinyl to get pressed, couple of months at least

When the wrestling show came out earlier this year, he did a Q&A on Instagram and confirmed this. He said management suggested he wait until a physical product was ready (or at least closer to being ready) to release the album, and even suggested the band wait until 2025 to release it given the proximity to Atum, but the band wanted it out on streaming as soon as possible.

God knows when the vinyl will be out. There is a worldwide backlog don't you know? I mean, Machina 2 should have been out years ago and we are still waiting.

Whether you like "Atum" or not, it makes it more likely that "Aghori Mhori Mei" is more likely to retain new listeners, that have gotten interested in the band after attending a Green Day show. Whatever it listed first/newest on streaming services determines where new people dig in.
