man really lost track of this band after day and age

i think i listened to battle born like once and it was like a completely forgettable amalgam of their first two records.

Yea I was going to say the same thing. Their latest doesn't really sound too much like Hot Fuss. More like the third and the second.

I like the new song despite how sappy it is. Probably the catchiest thing they've done since When You Were Young.

I think the icing on the cake is the leather jacket that Flowers is wearing in the video. As if the song and video weren't already corny enough he's got to wear that awful looking jacket too.

Sam's Town still is my favorite. Hot Fuss is perhaps the most front loaded album of all time - that thing just takes a major nose dive after track 5.

That all aside, this single is pretty cool. And it's a bit refreshing to see a video with a little bit of a storyline, especially one that's got some heart to it. Dig the video, dig the song - but by no means gonna get me to go out and buy the greatest hits CD.

Saw them live last December, and they've really solidified as a live band. Always have been great, but I was kind of blown away by how great it was.

Midnight Show is the best track on there. But yeah, Sam's Town wins

Midnight Show is awesome. You guys got to get the UK Hot Fuss version with Glamorous Indie Rock n Roll replacing Change Your Mind. It makes the album somewhat better. But anyway I already don't think Hot Fuss is frontloaded because Midnight Show rules.

Check out the band White Lies if you love the Killers. They are very similar.

When you were young is a really good song. Haven't heard much else from them that I've really dug. Smile like you mean it is pretty cool too.
