Weird considering he's re-releasing TAFH - if he wasn't the tracklist makes more sense.

I'm betting no to TAFH.
there were 4 new mixes for PI songs on the Gish bonus disk, so this is pretty much expected. Eye is a strange one though. would have thought TEITBITE would be a better fit, maybe.

also, Towers of Rabble is an odd omission; not that i particularly like it, but it has been implied that a studio cut existed. maybe it will make the TAFH reissue, if it comes off.

This looks AMAZING, I'm not sure what people have to complain apart. The DVD is a bit of a disappointment, but I was expecting the full Germany show - it's a shame it's not the full Brixton one, but I guess that might not exist

This looks fantastic! No complaints about the tracklisting of the CD's - these reissues seem to be all about alt takes and demos with a few extras.

I imagine/hope the reason for this is we'll see an album of unreleased material, and a proper live album from this era at some point, including the 30 minute Silverfuck which is sadly absent from the DVD.

the full Brixton show does exist - but it costs a shitload of money to licence footage from companies like MTV (who shot that show and own the masters)

also regarding the Iha song - Country Girl was played in 1995, so it's totally possible that more LICD songs dates from the era

Tentatively excited about this. More completely unheard songs instead of alt takes would of course be nice but that's always my complaint.

I really don't think the casual fan would remotely be interested in a 30min jam. then again we're looking at a re-issue with 3 bonus cds of material.

Billy came clean a few months ago. There is a rough Billy solo demo, and live. That's it.

Can we all just finally now admit that there is no studio version of this song.

I'm pleasantly surprised the jupiters lament barbershop demo actually exists.

I'm excited to hear a great deal of this stuff. Disappointed in the DVD.

And to the idiot who said this set isn't made for us.. Shut the fuck up. Who else besides hard core fans would drop over $100 on this shit?

I know a lot of casual fans that bought the gish & sd reissues and they were super pleased by ALL the new material they never heard.

not everyone is on netphoria or has knowledge of the archive.org database of shows... let alone the sharing of the better quality radio shows.

for the record let's not let an early listing on an italian amazon site curve the actual price for this

You can get TAFH on ebay for 50-60$. That seems like a more realistic price for this

billy rough demo is what i expected. stumbleine, rotten apples, blank, and meladori magpie are all billy home-recordings and barely touched up demos.

Yeah...I remember Billy saying in an old guitar magazine that there was a version of Jupiter's Lament "with the whole band singing". I guess this is it!

There's a full band Meladori Magpie floating around I think.

Wow. This is going to be an amazing release. So many extra tracks, a little baffling they put all those TAFH "2012 mix" tracks on there, but even throwing those out it's still 2+ discs of "new" material.

Too bad the Brixton set is not the full show, that would have made it perfect.
