One hundred thirty one dollars and eighty nine cents? Good LAWD that's a lot of money!

How about a I buy some Liquid Ass using the Netphoria amazon.com link, and you just throw in MCIS for free?

I moaned about the PI cost but I will pay an astronomical amount of money for a deluxe Mellon Collie reissue.

3 discs of outtakes and a live cd/dvd or a 96 show including the 30 minute Silverfuck>Zoom>Rocket>BuryMe>SPExpress.

BELIEVE. (Never going to happen)

probably there will be the same stuff as on aeroplane + a couple of boring instrumentals i will listen to only once + live songs i heard 100000000 times ... i look forward only to the DVD and those couple of songs that we never heard or we had only crap versions of. can't wait for the adore and Machina I and II reissue. probably will be a lot more interesting than this. by the way aeroplane shouldn't be included in the reissues. it will have to high of a price and not enough of goodies

Are people still listening to this garbage? This album stinks. Everything bad about 90s alternative rock is at its worst on this album==pityful "woe-is-me" lyrics, "chunk-a-chunk-chunk" guitars, muddy walls of distorted guitar noise, and the obligatory power ballad ("Tonight Tonight") tailor made for adult contempory radio stations.

What were people thinking in 1995? Did the whole world go insane? I don't know how anyone could find any musical value in this album. "Meloncoly and the Infinate Sadness" is almost like a caricature of all the other 90s grunge bands. The songs average 8 minutes in length, there are 28 songs, and it completely takes up two discs. The teenage angst and distorted walls of guitar noise typical of all the other grunge bands are taken to such a ridiculous extreme by the Smashing Pumpikns, that it sounds more like a tongue-in-cheek parody than a serious album.

I don't recommend this CD to anybody unless you want to annoy yourself with bad music.

Wow, way too expensive, regardless of what's packaged inside. People just don't pay that amount of money these days for music. And, given a lot of the "mistakes" and glitches from Pisces, I think he's a bit audacious to assume we're going just trust that it's worth that price.

Unless they horribly, horribly screw this up, I'm getting it. I bet there's a special case or something. This was like the most important album of my youth, getting the best version of the reissue isn't a question. I just hope they don't mess it up too badly.

Sign me up for the quadruple vinyl too at $90.

Just don't screw this up please.

It all comes housed in a 12 x 12 lift-top box with magnetic closure, reimagined cover art and velvet-lined disc holder. The package includes 2 books containing personal notes, lyrics, new collage artwork, plus a Decoupage kit for creating your own scenes from the Mellon Collie universe. The bonus content and special features were curated from the band’s archives by Corgan, and have been painstakingly remastered for the first time from the original master tapes by Bob Ludwig.
Nice package, but reimagined art?

Bob Ludwig was in charge of the bonus content too, which is good because Howie fucked up the last one.

A fucking decoupage kit? Really??

Some cool interesting stuff, but do we really need the Tafh songs on there? Also the Braxton DVD is just the songs that were pro recorded, not the whole show. That is NOT cool! I'm sure they had some full shows in the archives!
