Exclamation Jellybelly live, isolated drum mix

Played this song for the first time in years on Saturday, second song in the set = bad idea. Arms/legs were cramping but I pushed through, probably should have found a bit more time to warm up first!

maybe you should say drum cover in the title cause I came in here expecting a MCIS isolated live drum track of Jellybelly with Jimmy going nuts and that’s not what this is.

Reported for the misleading title which caused me to misapprehend what I was about to look at and hear, for approximately 15 seconds. My time is money and I will be compensated for it. Adding to the report the amount of time it takes me to write this post notifying you of being reported.

Additionally, sir, now that I fully understand what I am watching and hearing, I advise you not to play your drums so impossibly loud that the other members of your band cannot be heard at all! Can't be a good experience for them or the audience!

Pretty nice playing though. What was your recording setup for this? Close mics?

I got the multi track files from the desk so this is purely the mics on the drums

Other songs performed live on Saturday...

Bodies
Here Is No Why
Zero
BWBW
1979
Ode to No One (final Metro show version)
Geek USA
Everlasting Gaze

I might post up some other drum-audio drum-cam clips - in this thread to save y'all the heartbreak when you find it's not some unearthed JC video

Y'all sound really good — you've posted your stuff here before, right? Lineup looks familiar.

This is an odd thought, perhaps an insane one, but I feel like more people might've accepted Billy's voice if he'd sounded like your guy. Heard a lot of "his voice is terrible, girly, screechy" back in the day. I don't think your guy has the necessary grr, life is such a nightmare, agggh I'm very emotional energy Billy did, but like, the sound of it is good, you know? I don't have the right words. I don't think it's much lower than Billy's voice, but it's way more... pleasant, you know? Yeah? If Billy's a kazoo, this is more a flute.

Vocals are ok but a little too clean and Aussie accented for my tastes. Corgan had more snarl on the heavy songs and just a more charismatic delivery.

Yeah I've posted some stuff from this band before! If you dig through my youtube channel you'll find a bunch of other SP performances including a full Gish album show, we're planning on doing Siamese Dream next year, will likely film that one too.

agreed if billy had sounded more like a bar band singer, they'd have reached greater heights.

Geek USA sounded more solid than I remember so here's another isolated drum mix

I was thinking more like the Death Cab guy (in which case they'd have reached such great heights, heyo!), in terms of like sensitive uwu dude people want to protect and cry along to instead of our arrogant shrieking manchild, but I'll accept that description
