I listened to it again last night. It's a decent little record that was fun to revisit.

Jealousy was probably the stand out, for me at least.

james was so fucking cool

furthermore, james is still fucking cool. i wonder if he will go thru a decline period, much like corgan has, and JC to a lesser degree

Maybe this is his decline period?

Or is it better to contribute no music than bad music?

I remember Billy saying "IF ONLY JAMES HAD COME TO ME I COULD HAVE HELPED HIM"

Completely missing the point of being supportive and basically repeating his shitty dad's pattern.

I'll never understand what people see in James Iha music (aside from being die hards for the band he got famous for).
It's the most listless, unremarkable and bland music imaginable.

15 years of shitty Billy Corgan music really help.

Also please stop calling it a "little record", everyone. Just because the wrong people rave about it doesn't mean you have to belittle a great, inspired, beautifully recorded late 90s piece of work.

That's cool, I never heard that b-side before. It's probably the most Pumpkins sounding of all the songs from that era.

Let it Come Down is basically an entire album of all the sorts of small things James is so genius at adding into Pumpkins songs.

incidentally, his 2nd one as well as the JCC records are basically entire albums of "jesus christ will someone just kidnap Imposter Bill already & let this be The Smashing Pumpkins?"
