Also yesterday I started Fear by Gabriel Chevallier and, if you like Catch 22 at all, I think you'll love this.

Same tone, different war.

Last week I finished Blue Thunder: How the Mafia Owned and Finally Murdered Cigarette Boat King Donald Aronow.

It was absolutely fascinating and had some of the most incredible investigative journalism. And it gave me a renewed sense of the worthlessness of our justice system and dead-ass George H. W. Bush.

Reading "when gravity fails" by George Alec Effinger. Really into it. It's as if Raymond Chandler wrote about the futuristic Middle East modeled after the French Quarter. Lots of body modification.
