Question Looking for that Machina II owners list

Does anyone know where I can find that list that says who owns one of the 25 Machina II vinyl sets? I remember seeing that list here before, but I can't find it. Some names were also linked to a number (e.g. 1: Billy Corgan; 19: Q101).

Thanks.

i'm fairly certain the list was posted when machina II showed up on ebay. when was that? 2004? 2005? if nobody has this list saved somewhere, i'll continue my search.

Starseed talking on IRC

StArSeEd> that's Q101's alright.
StArSeEd> WXRT's is 20
ninjaprsn> StArSeEd: where did you get the numbers from?
StArSeEd> dahl's is 23, agnew's is 24, asselin's is 25
StArSeEd> shanahan's is 8
StArSeEd> corgan sr's is 7
StArSeEd> matuzak's is 6
StArSeEd> flood's is 5

When StArSeEd comes online I will ask him if he has more numbers...

So it looks like
1) Billy (?)
2) James (?)
3) D'arcy (?)
4) Jimmy (?)
5) Flood
6) Matuzak
7) Corgan Sr
8) Joe Shanahan
11) gregory sylvester

9, 10, 12-18, 21, 22 (?)

19) Someone in France? (formerly Q101)
20) WXRT
23) dahl's
24) agnew
25) asselin

Also looks like Dead coined the phrase "SP2"

tigershorty/wolfgang/ (can't remember the real name) has one (if he hasn't sold it). it's where the o-site mp3's and the "virgin inhouse demos" came from

tigershorty were in fact two people, one was supposedly jim evans (or coulld have been that sylvester guy, but i doubt it, since art direction for machina and website-design/maintainance were done by different companies) and the other someone else (the guy i try to remember), wolfgang was just the guy i try to remember, he was there for the first euro-zwan tour, along with lester cohn

who do you think can make this transfer you're requesting?

i mean, you can ask, and ask again, but who's going to do it?

and while we're at it, what exactly does "hand-cut" and "non-lacquered acetate" mean? does this say anything about the quality and/or the lifetime of these vinyls?

i'm going to assume that "hand cut" probably means there's no metal plate made
the metal plate would be molded from the "hand cut acetate"
and then 1000's of vinlys would be pressed from the metal plate
it's common for vinyl pressing places to cut half a dozen acetates for verification before making the master metal plate
so the pressing engineer probably just ran off 25 copies

i dont know if this process gives less or more lifetime to the record

so they simply skipped some steps that are used for mass production, right?

i think it is, but does anyone know if the resulting vinyls are similar to regular vinyls? like, if you would hold a machina II vinyl, would it look/sound just like any other vinyl?

and does this also mean that it's impossible to make more of these vinyls, unless they start over from the beginning of the whole vinyl pressing process?

i know dub plates are only good for about 50-100 listens

they could probably make a metal master from the acetates that they cut
and then reproduce from there.

i wouldn't be surprised if these hand cut non lacquerd acetates were much better then regular vinyls
i am inquiring.

another question: does the fact that it is hand cut mean that every copy is unique, that there can be differences between copies?

only in the tips and tails of the sides
i doubt the cutting engineer changed his eq/compressor settings as he went.
it's a start/stop procedure once it's set up.
