Default TV On The Radio release a new song from their upcoming album

Already released "Will Do" a little bit ago

http://pitchfork.com/news/41674-new-...radio-will-do/

Now they have released Caffeinated Consciousness

Anyone else love these guys? Easily one of my favorite bands. I remember when I got into very early in college when their only album Desperate Youth, Bloodthirsty Babes. Return To Cookie Mountain was actually the last album I ever bought.

Can't wait for their upcoming new album as well as their show in Philly in just under a month. Saw them at Bonnaroo in 09 and they put on a good show despite all I heard going into that is that they were a disappointment live.

Really never got around to listening to any of their solo stuff. Worth a download?

it was pretty bouncy, the David Byrne, Little Dragon and Karen O tracks are pretty solid. Tunde is on it too.

It wasn't exceptional but it has some really good cuts.

"Will Do" sounds like trip-hop. I was never much a fan of them before but I do like this.

If there is more stuff like "Will Do" on the album I might actually buy it. Will Do is quite good. They are better as a trip hop / downtempo / electronic group than as a rock band in my opinion.

Caffeinated consciousness sounds very... RHCP. Not sure I'm too keen on that. Maybe I'll listen to their last album instead.

TVotR is a good deal smarter than anyone in RHCP
