That first Thanksgiving, man... he was baiting everyone else in the family with all sorts of shit, just happily reeling off horrible opinions in what became a weird monologue because no one was responding or acknowledging he'd spoken, just getting more and more excited and no longer waiting for people to reply

I kept my silence, but the one time I was really tempted to speak up was when this asshole later opined that Jr. is way better than Sr.
