Monte - does the remastered album sound any different/better?

Based on his page, they didn't give him the remasters, just the bonus discs.

If it doesn't come out in this round of remasters and bonus tracks, it's kind of hard to keep on believing.

James Iha solo track... from Let it Come Down, his solo album.

Edit: Don't feel bad, I forgot all about it too.

This mix is the same as found on the aeroplane box set. For those crazy audio freaks I took a screen shot of the two tracks and what you see shouldn’t surprise you. I personally think it’s great that tracks like this are on the bonus discs so fans who don’t even know about the aeroplane box set get a chance to sample some of the best tracks.

I'm not begging Monty for anything. I can wait. I've waited this long to hear Speed, I can do a couple more weeks.

I'm voting for "Go fuck yourself" for Monday.

So, Monte, what's up, are you gonna answer any of these requests or not? What was the point of asking?

I am reviewing all the songs 1 a day. When we get closer to the release date I will be doubling up.
I never said "ask me questions". I asked what song they wanted a sample of on Monday.
But having the questions is cool. when I get to those songs I'll try to answer those questions

And I will be talking about Speed on Monday.

Fair enough, but I mean, it would take like all of 60 seconds to just say, "Yes, One and Two is the James Iha song," right?

Reynel, the thing about Monte is that Monte likes attention, in any way shape or form he can get it. It gives him a Mormon no-no-boner to drag it out like this. Each question asked gives him a raging stiffy that he should be using with his wife.

Because he has to be dickish about it. He can't just write one quick sentence about each track which is all we really want and make one long post.

Like we want to hear his fucking thoughts and review of each track. Just answer the questions you know we have. Instead we get "this is the same version you have had for 20 years now."

Yeah it's there for all those casual fans who spend hundreds of dollars on deluxe boxset reissues.

Monte, I am very curious to know which of tracks are different from already circulating bootlegs. And for the ones that are already out there, say like the sadlands demos, how does the quality compare?

Your comprehension of the english language conflicts with the functionality of your blog.

I realize your entire worth in life is based around this band (better yet his one man) and if you outsourced your writing to a third party it may make you feel less, but it would surely make your blog/website far more professional.

As someone who does social media / advertising for a living we do a lot of linking to content by other sites/blogs. I'd have a hard time linking to your site due to the writing. Given that you have some very exclusive content, many media sites (rolling stone, spin, etc etc) would likely love to link to your content but probably won't because of the poor writing.

Something to think about

Spin has mentioned Crestfallen
http://www.spin.com/articles/hear-fo...pumpkins-demos

I am not concerned about making Crestfallen perfect because
A) It is just a hobby not a job (even though its like a part time job)
B) I don't get paid for it, I pay for it (domain registration, hosting, giving my time, etc)
C) I don't have money to pay people do the writing and those who I have allowed to edit (their are 3 of them) are volunteers and it is up to them to do it if they want to.

If any of these changed then I would defiantly make Crestfallen more professional.
Also their are other writers but they tend to write that often (they are volunteers), I would love it if others wrote the articles, but the fact is they don't currently. it has nothing to do with self worth. I don't care what you think about me. If I did I would of left the SP community a long time ago.
