It doesn't matter when they release it, they're not going to sell gangbusters of Machina on vinyl.

I buy records but I still wouldn't buy a Machina vinyl boxset. Why? Because I'd probably never play the whole thing, if there were a load of alternate versions then I definitely wouldn't play it that often.

What would sway me would extensive artwork / booklets etc. But they could make these, vinyl size, with CDs it in and not vinyl.

previous reissues only had the standard album, not the bonus tracks. but it might get weird with this one with M2 being added back

I don't buy CDs at all. But I'm saying it would be a way of still providing a physical product with whatever new artwork it is and whatever the shitty comic is or whatever.

Miss taylor is a big fish, whereas barcy has been in musical nomansland for the last 20 years . So why would a record company push sthg that has only value for hardcore fans and was actually a mediocre album.

I' d release it via bandcamp...

I don't really want it on vinyl. The main frankenalbum is going to be 8+ sides? It'd be so annoying to listen to.

The whole thing's digital anyway so it's not like the vinyl will sound better. And it's going to be a cheap shitty pressing like Cyr. And it'll be $400 with 2 sided dedicated to alt versions of Blue Skies Bring Tears.
