Is being a total douchebag a requirement for purchasing a turbo diesel pickup truck?

These fucks tailgate, jump lanes, weave through lanes with no signal, and drive like jackasses. Why? Nearly every time I hear that turbo diesel engine sound the person behind the wheel is acting like a jackass or taking up multiple parking spaces.

PROS

Is one of the like 3% of pickup owners who actually needs one
Has been progressive for most of his adult life
Was a huge help when I was looking into buying a hybrid car

CONS

Suddenly went all-in on Trump and the MAGA lifestyle in '16, becoming a person I no longer recognize
Told me he likes "rolling coal" to "piss off everyone"
And I don't think it's just "to own the libs," because he'd have to drive pretty far to find one where he lives; I really think it's "everyone"

there were 3 (!) of these fucking things, totaled, within a couple hundred feet of each other
