i need a new roommate. dana made up some story about her mom having a hysterectomy...

i think her mom may have cancer, but she didn't say anything like that.

my mom wants me to call my 2nd cousin up here that's 2 or more years younger than me. i've only seen her at reunions/birthdays and i dont know her well at all.

how do you call someone you've never talked to and start hanging out and then ask them to be your roommate?

a cell phone would probably also work, but then you have to worry about how much signal you have and minutes and all that jazz.

its really just a big hassle

i don't know if she drinks or is really religious either.

but i do need to be nice. my mom said for me to invite her over to my house and meet her and all, but that puts her in charge of when to leave, and i don't know how that will go. like there has to be a reason for her to come over or something.
