He said something the other day when talking about Machina, something like "and of course no one is going to be releasing anything right now". Which is weird thinking. It seems like a great time to release a record. Loads of bands are. NEW CRO-MAGS RECORD.

Billy is actually an idiot and these live videos just clarify that. This man has lived an extraordinary life and met so many influential people yet he's learned nothing. His logic is just so bizarre and he shoots himself in the foot with his stances almost every Q&A.

he lacks the serious critical thinking abilities and the skills to parse information one acquires when they are not a self-obsessed narcissist whose internal narrative is that all forms of authority are innately bad and trying to hurt one's precious individuality. He's an anti-intellectual who didn't go to college despite his grandmother having left him money to do so because, in his own words, college is just high school times ten.

He's lost in his internal world. He's always been this way and I'm sure it is because the stuff he went through as a kid led him to invent this ultra reactionary and self-protective narrative. It's just sad that after having such an extraordinary life and being so talented and accomplishing so much, his experiences have not led him to grow out of this and in fact as he gets older he just seems to double down more and more on his bullshit. He's a great example of a person who truly believes it's not him, it's everyone else.
