Red face Hey guess what, you guys? I had 2 abortions!
Can we seriously just get this out in the open so everyone can get over it? I mean Rockin' Cherub is still trying to make funneh with these abortion comments and Karl "rapist" Connor is sending me PMs crying about how he doesn't bring up my abortions so I shouldn't bring up his personal life.

In my photography class we're doing a group exhibition in less than 2 weeks in the giant conference room on campus. Everyone's shooting narratives and then we're developing them into positives on litho film so we can turn them into slides and project them on the wall with our choice soundtrack playing in the background. Anyway, this girl I know in my class is doing her narrative on abortion, and she just found out the girl who's modelling for her is pregnant and is getting an abortion, so the girl's going to bring her camera with her when she goes to get it done.

I know, I was thinking the same thing. It would be really great if she got some shots of the people that dedicate their free time to protesting someone else's freedom to choose.

I'm not sure what exactly the model is going to photograph inside the clinic. Maybe just a shot of her legs in the stirrups or something? I guess I'll find out in a couple of weeks.

Speaking of rosaries and pamphlets...there was this loud black girl there when I was there for one of my visits and she had me laughing my ass off for hours. She went outside and came back in and was telling all us girls about how we should go out there and talk to those people...she said "Look at all this free shit I got!" and started putting on all the rosaries, went outside and started dancing around singing "I'm getting an abortion!".

I really hate those bastards that stand outside though, the look on their faces was priceless.

I'd be surprised if the clinic allowed her inside, but if they did...I'd imagine she could conjure up some disturbing imagery. Also, depending on how far along the girl is - could be really brutal stuff.

That would be great to get the protesters though.

Nah, I don't ever want kids. I think about it once in a while, obviously I've thought about it a lot the first time I had to make the choice. But a.) I don't think I'll be in the financial position any time soon b.) we live in a shitty WAY overpopulated world that's only getting worse every day and c.) I hate kids. I'd probably love my own child, for sure, but they just piss me off too much to imagine having to be responsible for one. They're little bastards, really. So all in all, I think it's best I don't have kids.

If I lived in Russia that might be different though...the thought of winning a house or a car with my baby would be pretty neat.

Hey krazee, not meaning to have a go at you as such but how did the second abortion come about? Was it an accident or did you change your mind after intending to get pregnant? Im not a woman so i don't know what goes through your mind/body when you're having a living being sucked out of you but wouldn't you make sure that you had protection with you every single time you got dicked after that first abortion? Im pro choice by the way.

i have a friend who had an abortion. she didn't know she was pregnant and had been partying pretty hard. and it was after a one night stand. she didn't want to have a crack baby or fas baby so she got an abortion. she had to go through it alone though. she still gets upset about it.

No worries man, that's what this thread is for. I want to answer all questions, no matter how serious or not serious they are.

Well the first abortion I had was with my ex boyfriend and after that I went on the pill...but after about a year or two of being on the pill, and switching me to different kinds of pills, they told me I couldn't take it. By then we'd broken up and I wasn't concerned about birth control. Well some time goes by and I end up getting together with my current boyfriend, whom we all know and love, and my dumbass just wasn't thinking, caught up in the moment and ended up getting pregnant. The only thing that went through my mind is "I can't have a kid" so I didn't.

Having an abortion sucks, having a second abortion sucks even worse but only for the sake that there's so much controversy surrounding that decision that the second time you have to go through that, especially when you've finally been able to push the memories of the last one out of your brain...it's no walk in the park. But when it's between making the decision of going through that shit again or having a child, there's no debate in my mind. Once you make a mistake, or you make that mistake again - no amount of ridicule or guilt is going to make your choices any different. Either you're having the baby or you aren't. It's that simple.

So of course after that I made sure I got back on some kind of birth control, they said they could try the depo shots on me, they're brutal but they do the job and they won't give me a stroke so I take the shots and have been since that day...I'm coming up on 3 years. If I'm lucky it'll have destroyed my reproductive organs eventually so I won't even need to take the hormone shots. How awesome would that be.

nonono, see you don't understand. You're new right? Well I had my first abortion 6 years ago and my second one 3 years ago...since then a lot of the assholes of netphoria have continuously brought this up as a joke ...yeah, for at least the last 4 years.
