The truth is that I love this stupid band. For all it's dumb faults I still love what they have done. The Future Embrace, Mary Star of the Sea, etc...

When the Smashing Pumpkins were at their prime in the mid-90's, they were UNSTOPPABLE in a live setting.

I'm 44 and I'm still baffled by the musical output that Billy Corgan and everyone he has been associated with has produced since the late '80's. We love to shit on the guy but really, has anyone else provided better music that what you listen to?

Hi, folks. Thanks to the four of you who contributed at the Metaverse memorial fundraiser/talent show the other night. We're still about $15 million short of our goal, but I decided to at least have a preliminary look at where we're at in terms of my dad's progress. Unfortunately, as far as I can tell, he left a huge fucking mess, and the only stuff I can find that looks even half-complete is three remixes of The Crying Tree of Mercury. All three, if my own bodily reaction is anything to go by, appear to have incorporated the Brown Note.
