A lot of weird things happened on Friday

And most of them violent. Some of my metal head friends proclaimed it was because it was the 2 year anniversary of Dimebags murder. But they at least did so with a twinkle in their eye.

But I saw two fights almost start, and get close to happening with friends and associates. And then a friend got smacked in the eye in a mosh (intentionally), and then smacked the guy who hit him a bit (they’re both quite small, so it was kinda fun).

And then a friend was arguing with his girlfriend (who is pshychotic. Completely) and she punched him in the gut while he was stretching, pretty hard. So he didn’t feel good. So they went home and the argument continued. Wait wait, let me interrupt, this lady needs some background first: She’s crazy. Seriously. Some brief examples: She’s been escorted out his house by the police before. Some guy was giving him shit one night, so she smashed a draft glass over his head, picked up a pool cue (by the skinny side) and then smashed that over his head too. Etc. Anyway: Friday night, they get home, he’s had enough and is telling her to leave, they’re in the kitchen, she grabs a knife and stabs him. He blocks, get hit in the arm, and has to go for 8 stitches.

Anyway, back to the weird night: Nathan got into another fight. He’s been really good lately.
But this one was quick, and brutal.
Some guy (who knows Nathan, which is weird, considering how he acted with him) was acting all cocky all night. As he drank more, he got more rowdy. He then took a sip of beer and spat it in Nathans face. Nathan has assault charges and such against him already, so he’s been passive lately, so he didn’t react immediately, but told him he was lucky he didn’t punch him in the face. The guy laughed at him and said some other cocky comments along the lines of ‘Yeah, real lucky, cause I wouldn’t be able to deal with that if it happened, hey?’ So Nathan stood up and bopped him in the mouth, and the guy literarily flew over a table and into a whole lot of chairs and shit.
He stands up again and is bleeding profusely from the mouth. He looks at the blood, walks up to Nathan and then spits hi blood all over him. So Nathan bops him again, with similar results.
So the guy gets up AGAIN, rushes Nathan and throws a punch. Nathan intercepts the punch, locks his arm, smacks him three times in the face, throws him to the ground, kicks him in the face before he goes down, and then kicks him AGAIN as he hits the ground.
It all took about 3 seconds. Haha.

Everyone stood around in a state of shock, really.
The guy looked dead. He was knocked out, completely, for at least 15 minutes, lying on the road. People started shouting, ‘Check his pulse! Call an ambulance! Is he dead??’
Some guys carried him to the car, and his legs just dragged along the ground, and his head lolled from side to side. It was hectic.

But yeah, the next day the guy called Nathan and apologised, which brought me much mirth. Ho ho.

Just in time for the Christmas Spirit.

And blah blah blah. Some other stories too, but I’ve rambled enough about my little South African life.

Also: Nathan got his tattoo yesterday! Which is great news for me, because I designed it! And now someone has it! Forever, till they die! Dun dun. That’s quite a good feeling. It’s a celtic band. Which is a bit boring, but since I drew it, at least it’s an original celtic band that no other bugger in the world has. Hooray.

That guy was bleeding from the ears, which I know isn’t a good sign.
He was also bleeding from his lip, his nose, and had split his cheek and eyebrow.
There was lots of blood. It ran down a little path into the road. I should have had my camera, I could have got some weird photos.

That's a pretty cool story. I almost got an adrenaline rush just reading it. I hope your friend doesn't get into too much trouble with the previous charges and whatnot.

Nah, he’s alrighty! The guy wont press charges. He already apologised, saying he knows he can offend a lot of people when he’s drunk, and next time he’ll ‘try talking instead of spitting and throwing punches’.
The other idiot pressed charges, and he didn’t even get beat badly. Nathan got 100 hours of community service. Haha.
