It’s great how even the Adore reissue live cd didn’t feature the extended rock versions of tracks from the 98 tour. Like I only know Atlanta and Constitution Hall but those versions are fucking incredible. Should’ve been standalone Live CD’s for both MCIS and Adore from the no-Jimmy era.

The live version of 1979 from this tour has so much energy, jay-sus!

I love that version of perfect. I always assumed James played on it tho.

I’ve always been partial to San Francisco 6/30/98. First show of the charity tour, first show they played the entire album live - with the debut of Annie-Dog. The Appels + Oranjes is a rarity. Nothing is overdone. No Transmission, but it’s kind of a positive. Keeps the set in a sweet spot.
