i'm pleased to see you're buying vinyl.

this week i just got a few new release singles on 7" (btw the new arcade fire single has really really cool packaging, at least on the uk rough trade release) and yoshimi battles... on red vinyl lp.

on saturday i'm heading up to newcastle to pick up a huge stack of lps and 12"s i've got put aside at a shop.

The only place around here that sells vinyl that's not used and/or from the 60's/70's is Hot Topic.

Yeah, I pretty much stay away from CDs if there's a vinyl version out there. Also, I should have my copy of Architecture In Helsinki's In Case We Die lp in the mail from Australia.

i LOVE vinyl, it sounds awesome and to my eyes a vinyl disc is a beautiful thing. that said i mostly listen to stuff on cd to avoid having to turn discs over and whatever when i'm chilling. if i'm going to actively listen to something tho i play it on vinyl.

things i really like / want i buy on both cd and vinyl

How come? Don't you find CDs to be much more versatile?

I forgot to mention I also purchased Sleater-Kinney's "The Doctor" or whatever album, but I haven't listened to it in its entirety or really even paid much attention to it. I feel bad. It was $18! Ugh.
