If someone wanted to make a case regarding the problems with the culture that surrounds pro football, it seems the better argument would be to focus on the fact that it's a game of extreme violence and that fact alone will always negatively impact the environment within which these teams exist and operate. Just look at the injury rate in the NFL. It's insane. There isn't another sport even close to it. It's a culture of violence where people are expected to hurt themselves and others. There's no way to maintain a sport like that without also accepting some of the horrible shit that goes along with it.
