Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer trailer...

Can you comic nerds explain to me what exactly the silver surfer is? Is he meant to be a bad or good guy?

I was under the impression that he was a good guy until I saw the trailer.

It's complicated. (Uh... spoilers?)

Silver Surfer, Norrin Radd, basically said he'd be Galactus's bitch and become the Silver Surfer to save his home planet Zenn-La. This meant going to earth and causing trouble, but when he gets there he feels bad for mankind and earth then becomes a good guy. Hopefully I didn't ruin the movie.

Nah thats cool, what you wrote didn't make much sense anyway.

But I take it Galactus is going to be the other big bad boss of the movie. The trailer looks pretty good, I was never I fan of the first one but this looks like it could be better.

He was a herald of Galacticus, he would come and warn a planet that galacticus was coming to eat it. So basically a bad guy but then he came here and the Fanatasic Four made him turn his back on the big palnet eater, so he got traped on earth for years until marvel gave him his own series.

HE's always been kind of a torn good guy, he is one moody son of a bitch.

He ends up teaming up with them, depending on how they stick to the orignal storyline.
