The beer situation is baffling. Only Giant Eagle can sell you beer or wine in a grocery store. Only Sheetz (now testing the water in their home county) can sell you beer at a convenience store. No corruption there.

For a state that loves to elect republicans, they surely fucking love their socialized liquor.

All the grocery stores - well Wegmans and the Giants (not Eagle here) - sell beer here as does Sheetz. Being the capital region might make that the difference though.

Maybe for governors but republicans haven't won a presidential election in PA since 1988. So I think there's a strong current of comm...I mean socialism in PA.

lots of people hate on west virginia and some if it's justified but i'm just glad i don't have to deal with that kind of stuff here. i couldn't imagine living where it's legal for some dude to rape you when you're just trying to walk to the store or whaever
