have any of the ATX folks gotten the feeling that there are not going to be very many people going to the make up show? I know most of the people I know that were going to go the first time around decided to get refunds and not go to the make up show... I really hope that the show will not suck once the pumpkins realize that the venue isn't even half full

It probably seems that way, but the place will be full enough. I'm almost sure - I'm always surprised that certain bands can fill venues here in town, so I bet SP will have no problem.

i get that feeling too. i was going to take a friend, and when he heard it was rescheduled he decided not to go... mainly because it is on a weeknight.

weeknight concerts suck in austin. APD is even more obnoxious with the sound ordinance.

i also havent seen this thing advertised much, other than on 101x, but even the barack obama rally at the backyard gets more airtime than this concert does.

it will be interesting to see what happens, and how long/short of a show we get.

if it is under half full... ugh

it kind of drives me batty that they soundcheck these amazing songs, but don't play most of them during the shows. behold! the nightmare, bodies, geek usa, mayo, beautiful, lily, by starlight, xyu??? man. they should throw out all of the singles and put these in their place

(yeah i know, never gonna happen. but it would be awesome, wouldn't it?)

UPDATE***********

just got an email from gettix.net - doors now open at 6 pm and show starts at 7 pm, instead of doors opening at 7pm and show starting at 8pm... probably due to the noise ordinance, so the extra hour should give us a full set!

am planning on getting up there around 530 or so and eat dinner in that shopping center, i don't know what is there but i'm sure they have a chili's or some shit like that... i def. want to be near the front although the venue rocks for seeing since it is on a hill
