Isn't the format of the podcast supposed to be, essentially, "play a new song, talk with a guest, play a classic song and talk about it"? Is he even doing that last part any more? I don't think I've seen anyone post some interesting new fact we learned about an old song — there's just zip in terms of cool stories, on any of them?

Few years ago I asked Billy if there would ever been another Siamese Dream box with more stuff and he gave some super snarky reply about it. Well, maybe don't give us such a hodge podge collection of outtakes then my dude? It'll be interesting to see if there will be another 30th box released. Doubt it though.

I think he can still sing in a way that would sound fine if he wanted to. That recent live version of Muzzle illustrates that. And there are certain parts song ATUM where he doesn't sound bad. It's more that the way he chooses to sing now often has some weird affectation and bad production. His voice should never be front and center and pushed up in a mix. It should be set back in the mix a bit. I don't know why he's always been obsessed with dry vocals, but the guy really could use some reverb/echo for some depth. It would just make things sound richer.
