Comprehensive Zeitgeist List

[ordinary apathy]

There's been a few requests in various threads that a list of all the different Zeitgeist exclusives and packages be condensed into one stickied post. It's up to the mods to decide whether this is stickyworthy or not, but I've started a list of those I'm aware of so far. If there's anything I've missed, post in the thread or PM me and I'll edit this post. It's a list in progress, so please, help me make it as accurate and up-to-date as possible.

A few notes:

- The list is not meant to be definitive. There will probably be more places selling the purple cover and book, but we obviously don't need to link to all of them. I just in.cluded Best Buy and Amazon because those were the first two I came across.

- I didn't in.clude prices, but if you guys think it would be helpful to have that info handy, I'd be happy to edit the post.

When you preorder on iTunes do you get a confirmation e-mail? Or do you get that when you are able to download the tracks and then actually do so?

I didn't get one, so I would assume it will be when you're notified to download.

WOW, the Amazon link for the Special Edition has a pic of the back of the album on it. Never saw it til tonight, and I must say its actually pretty cool.

An Amazon search only turned up one edition with the book and it was purple. But if you have a link to a red cover with book, post it and I'll add it.

Yeah, it looks like the red one there. They must have just put the pic up; there was no image when I was there last night. I have a feeling that either the album or the book is red and the other is purple, and that Best Buy's and Amazon's special editions will be identical. But I'll put them in different entries until we find out. Thanks!

Does anyone know where else the vinyl can be purchased? There's a 50$ minimum order for Canadian customers at Acoustic Sounds. I could always buy 3 copies of each colour.

There's a purple one at Elusive Disc for $29.99 and one at Music Direct (no image, and no color specified) for $18.99.

Elusive Disc says it's "expected on" 6/21. Are they saying that's the release date, or when they get it in stock?

Yeah, as far as I can tell. They're both 180 gram, have identical track listings, and are 2 LPs.
