I didn't ask for electro shock. The secret menu is the realization that you need to raid the snack cart when it comes around cause doritos and granny smith apples are gourmet compared to the hospital food.

so basically I've just been going down a hole the last two years for many reasons, but long story short my finances, job, car, and overall life have just been a major bummer. there's been a lot of booze involved. the last 6-9 months especially have been one incredible alcoholic binge.

mid-october I crossed into total losing it territory, and that downward trajectory continued until I was telling people crazy shit and saying I was gonna kill myself, goodbye, etc. someone called the cops. I honestly don't want to know who because I would probably never forgive them regardless of that being illogical. the cops came and acted like cops, and I was drunk and having suicidal ideations, so I will say conservatively that I was not cooperative. I got to say everything I ever wanted to say to a cop's face, and by the way it is true that you can slip handcuffs with enough adrenaline and effort

therefore I spent a whole day triple handcuffed to an emergency room bed and was finally transferred to a psych ward at a 2nd hospital where they held me for 3 days and the justice of the peace granted my petition to leave. the story goes on from there oh boy oh boy does it, but that's how this new chapter of my life opened.

the show was very good, but not quite as cool as the 2018 tour last I saw them. I hadn't watched any videos or read anything about this tour, so I actually got to be surprised at what they played. They did We Only Come Out At Night (unsure if they played this the whole tour or not, but it seemed to be for Halloween). There were also crucified ghouls and shit circling around the back of the stage. I had two fairly crappy tickets. My now ex-girlfriend wouldn't come because I traumatized her by being taken away by the police apparently, so I went by myself, of course got really drunk, my phone died in the queue to enter, and I was asking security if I could charge it anywhere when some random guy, John, came up and gave me his second ticket. He said his work bought them. They were about 16 rows from the front, so that definitely was a cool experience.

For some reason they let me go, which was fortunate because one of my best friends' wedding was the following week. they definitely should have kept me longer, but I guess the law is that if they deem a less restrictive environment to be safe, they have to let you go

As far as I understand, there is no known reason time should only run in one direction from the standpoint of physics. We experience time in one direction because of causality basically, but deeper than that no one knows.

I know the first thing I got was ativan because I wouldn't calm down and for many hours attempted to escape the triple handcuff cocktail, but that was at the first hospital in the ER. I honestly can't recall what they gave me at the psych ward, it's all a blur. I know they gave me my normal meds (sertraline and buspirone).

actually even though a lot of the folks were there involuntarily, nothing that disturbing happened. there were a few people who were having delusions at times, but they were pretty much always calm about it. one woman kept saying, "I know you've been following me since Wichita, and I will not have that brain surgery!"

I actually saw more disturbing things in the hospital I just left, which was voluntary admittance only. When I left today, there was a young dude who wanted very badly to leave (seemed to have forgotten he admitted himself I guess?) and he was lying on the floor under the phones surrounded by three police officers, and he was squeezing a tube of toothpaste all over his arms and legs and the floor

I used to subscribe to this, this idea that there are currently an infinite amount of Topleybirds typing into a box on Netphoria right now, and a second infinite amount of them where their earth varied by an immeasurably small and brief change in one atom's energy level in the entirety of the planet's existence, and so on, but I grew bored with it. I've found my new favorite model of the universe, in which the earth is flat (not thrilled about this part, but it's sort of necessary for the rest), the rim of our disc is surrounded by an impassable ice wall, and the rest of the universe is an infinite flat plain of ice. A lot of flat-earthers believe the first two suppositions, and a very small subset believe the third. I had a 3 hour surgery under IV sedation, I was kind of sort of awake through it. I remember some of it. But i was so far gone... i was tripping so hard they could have cut my limbs off and I wouldn't have cared.

I feel like there's sort of a social contract situation going on when one says "AMA," an unstated but common-sense understanding of what's to follow, but, strictly speaking, breeg has not promised to actually answer anything. On a very technical (but certainly not moral) level, he has fulfilled his role in this thread simply by creating it and absconding.

We are of course free to shun him from the group for the deception, but DK is right: If anyone saw him attending a Pumpkins show, he is surely restrained somewhere for his own and others' safety, and we may never know his intentions regarding a follow-up to his initial post.
