I love seeing KK Downing and Tom Morello do the little dance moves Downing used to do with Glen Tipton on stage with Priest.

Thrilled Billy had the opportunity. He’s been over the moon about it in the lead up and after. I thought it was fun with some decent screams in there. Is there video of Snowblind?

I was just about to post a fan video of this. Billy is a pig in shit right here. I'm happy for him. He's loving every second. He made a post earlier with everyone who attended and said Ozzy was his inspiration many times in life et alt. Just saying... I'm happy for him.

Preferred snow blind. Think I saw him play guitar on one song. Can't remember which.

Billy prefers to think of himself as a singer/songwriter these days. Has for a while. I'm sure he enjoyed getting up there, but those songs showed his vocal limitations pretty starkly.

Happy for him. You could tell it was very important and honored to be up there. Had a few good screams in there as well.

B'arcy vocals. Ouch.

It's strange seeing him "collaborate"

Preferred BC on Breaking the Law over Snowblind, good to hear a few screams in there too. I did wonder about going to this, but in the end I didn't bother getting tickets.

I’m happy for him but anyone who thinks he sounded good is truly delusional. “Some good screams in there” hahaha what video are you all watching

It’s great that he got to do this and I’m sure a dream come true. The heavy critique isn’t necessary as this was a “just for fun” kind of deal clearly.

Not enough Pumpkins fans give Sabbath their due. No Sabbath, no Pumpkins.

This is really cool to see and it probably feels like a lifelong dream come true for Billy to be up on stage paying tribute to his idols at their last gig

I think it would have been a lot better if the pumpkins played a few tracks and a cover instead of putting Billy in his clown dress in front of a very strange “supergroup.” Tool and Metallica both sounded genuinely good by comparison and didn’t give off “just for fun” vibes, they gave epic metal vibes.

Holy shit Snowblind sounds absoloutely awful, he just speaks half the lyrics as he hasn't got the range or power. Why choose this song.

Also when did he develop this absoloute cringe lord dance moves without a guitar.

He also think he's such a baller and cool guy rapping the lyrics but he looks like such an idiot in his momou.

Anyway it's funny to see Billy playing with other big names, I always got the impression he hated everyone and saw them as his rivals so he was never friends with anyone. At least let Bill play a solo, he's such a fucking underrated shredder its unreal but no.

All hail Iommi.

If you are from a certain generation in the UK, you can't hear that song without thinking of people dying violently in a car crash. It was used in the early 90s as the soundtrack to a road safety advert with a rather abrupt ending.

30 years later and I'm still scarred when I hear that fucking song.

It was not a wise choice.

Billy should not be allowed on stage without a geetar. He's like some figure from ancient myth, half man, half guitar. This is the way it is supposed to be.

imo Billy gets on well with people who are unashamedly commercial, who embrace the rock star concept. He invariably rubs up against those who espouse a slacker mentality, beloved of most of his alternative rock contemporaries, or who adopt a punk image.

He's spoken about not being liked by the local Chicago music scene coming up, so this dislike is well embedded in his psyche by now. He's never happier than when he's accepted by other musicians, the fan in him comes out, like onstage here, rather than appearing as a serious professional musician, which he obviously is.

Also he adores cheese metal which this event had in spades, he’s doing Breaking The Law with the Priest guy, it’s probably the best day in his life. Let him enjoy it Netphoria!
