If not, it's easily in the top 3. Thing is full blown "We play county fairs" level of extreme color/graphics/lack of thought to font selection.

This is a great summation of the design issues with this shirt.

I would agree - the Crooked Teeth one is top 10 bad shirts. The recent limited edition "Shamrocks" one on 3/17 was bad, but at least that one you could wear a hoodie with and just have a SP heart raglan, theoretically.

in any case, yeah that's a bad shirt but it's only another emblematic piece of how he's been running the band like a fucking car company for the past 15+ years. there is no art, it's all business, bad logos, product placement and going back on everything the bald boy stood so firmly for in the years that we loved him

I specifically remember mourning the derth of SP merch between, say, 2001 up to even 2015 or so. They'd have some stuff but not much and it was always ugly

Then they fucking EXPLODED after the 30 year mark (around 2017 maybe?) and now it's truly embarrassing the designs. The Crooked Teeth one is top 5 worst. All the Adore Anniversary shit was terrible.

At this point, there's about 10x terrible merch as there is decent. I have one shirt and one hoodie - both are old school designs.

Someone should do a March Madness style bracket of hideous SP/BC Solo T-Shirt designs and see what the winner is. I think this one is the No. 1 seed, but there are some real Cinderella stories in there. Don't count out this one too:

This was my first thought when I saw the thread title; it was certainly the worst one I owned (it was a gift). Can't say I paid much attention to the post-breakup shit but I realize now I was very, very wrong.

Except for "The World is a Vampire," I don't think any of those are that bad. But come on, even these collectively don't come close to being as bad as the 2022 in the first post. That reaches a whole new level of awful.

As a favor to the band, I've designed this t-shirt they are free to use. It took my 5 minutes, and certainly eclipses (no pun intended) the crap they're selling this tour.

I don't like the design of the 2022 one, but I sort of have a fondness for the 80s metal style of the logo. If it was small and uptop it might be ok.

I like some of the OG shirts - they are weird and goofy and perfectly reflected the weird-and-goofiness of the 1991 - 1996 version of the band.
