Is everyone in the band going to put out records that are listenable and sound more like the Pumpkins than anything Billy put out since donning his producer hat?

Thank you for taking the time to visit my website. In the day and age of social media, using a personal website may seem like a very antiquated idea; and in a way, it is. But when I began thinking of the various platforms where I could share information with people out here in cyberspace, I knew I didn’t want to worry about likes, working the algorithm, or text/video limitations. I want to be free of all that.

Over the next few months, I plan on sharing some things about my artistic self, my creative process, and the instruments I use. Beyond that, I also want to explore my artistic influences across the disciplines of music, literature, critical theory, spirituality, art, and film. My hope is that by sharing things that have inspired me it will perhaps be of some use for you in your life as well.
who is jeff?

Does Jeffrey know that BC invented the shoegaze sound? Hope he checked this out with him first...

That ten second clip is better than anything Billy’s done since 1999

These clips sound fucking amazing

That solo sounds like Billy if he'd bothered to learn guitar beyond 1988.

The widdly widdly solo is a bit too Joe Satriani for today's tastemakers.

The mbv spaciness parts are the best aspects of the song for sure, I don't think the solos are adding anything

Listened to the song, didn't resonate with me. Really like how Jeff thanks everyone though. As of this post, the video has 840 views and he still has humility to thank everyone who helped him.

If only B'arcy could learn about grace.

FYI, this is a cover of the musician he was discussing in his Amoeba "what's in my bag"

the SP praise in his post is so sad, it's like he is afraid BC will eject him from the band for dare trying to go solo. I imagine that BC turned against JI pretty hard after his solo album... "You owe it all to me!"

This is not bad at all. It's very much the sound of someone who's with the Smashing Pumpkins for almost 15 years, at the same time I take this over much of their recent output. The sound reminds me of The Go! Team and Machina II.

Jimmy puts out records that sound great, have incredible drumming and long jams.

James puts out records that sound like classic Pumpkins

Even Jeff Motherfucking Schrodinger is putting out records that sound contemporary, pleasant with an 90’s alt-rock vibe.

And yet all of these people “collaborating” with Billy on SP and it sounds like the same old Bill solo shit with vocals up top and overwrought production clunking around, often just plain unpleasant sounding. Even though I liked a lot of Cyr… imagine if Bill ACTUALLY STFU and worked WITH the people in his band.

Such a fucking waste cos of one man’s stubborn ego.
