Maybe because I never loved Birthday Party is that why?

On paper I should love them. They should be right up my alley (pause)

But it just doesn't connect with me at all

If Let Love In doesn't do anything for you I'd say nothing will.

I mean he was being a little sassy but it wasn't that bad. Billy was the new face and Nick treated him like someone who had something to prove.

More so why Nick never broke through in America. In 30 years post interview his entire discography hasn't sold more copies combined than Siamese Dream sold during the year this interview came out. Now that is a freakin' own if you ask me.

That's I think kind of the point I was loosely making. Like if I was maybe 5-8 years older I wouldn't be here. I would be a Nick Cave fan and that earlier style of "alternative".

But to be an SP fan enough to be on this hellhole literally means you probably don't like Nick Cave.

I was into grunge 2.0 or post-grunge with guys with shiny shirts and gelled hair with frosted tips, not that dirty animal shit.

Like I literally don't like Nirvana but I love Bush

I have been summoned.
That video is funny, Billy mildly embarrassed himself, Nick slightly cranky.

Nick Cave is good.
