Smashing Pumpkins & Fireworks!
I was super happy to hear Tonight Tonight at the fireworks last night
usually the soundtrack is classical or some bad medley but last night the US presentation used rock songs that included Beatles (LucyintheSkywithDiamonds), pinkfloyd (isthereAnybodyOutThere), Coldplay(Yellow), Guns' N Roses (sweetChildofMine)& U2 (One). I'm surprised that SP is up there with the "BIG" rock bands Tonight Tonight was the first song of all of them. we're quite spoiled here in montreal to have this fireworks competition. 40mins of non stop fireworks. about a dozen times throughout the summer. pretty amazing. that shit gets LOUD and they light up the sky like it's the middle of the day. I love going. syncing fireworks to Tonight Tonight was really pretty and they did a really good job. even the doomy ending. made me teary cause i'm sensitive and shit. It was beautiful. they must have blown up at least 6million$ of shit last night. fucking US always overspends yet rarely wins. other teams typically spend 3-4million. you don't hear any music with this though Last edited by T&T : 07-31-2008 at 09:14 AM. |

Aww, I should have gone. Did you pay for tickets at LaRonde, or go for free in the Old Port?

Fireworks really add to the beauty of the muzik, like how MonteLDS really adds to this board's splendor.

I went at the Old Port yesterday, but next time I'll try going to that area to avoid the bridge. Everything east of Papineau is the dark side of the moon to me. |

Does anybody else have a chilly feeling that G.L.O.W. might try to be a Tonight, Tonight redux?
