caught the flu, been down all week.

but if your keeping score at home, Fulford's prediction of no strikes against Iran (and the specific reasons why) is most intrigueing.

On one hand the drums of war are heating up while the rhetoric is mixed from various leaders and you can see rifts within the establishment (Army telling Republican politicians to tone down the war talk, Pentagon telling Isreal they'll be alone if they strike first without asking). Stateside though, our media is going down the same line as they did in the run up to ousting Saddam -- complicit propagandist for the most part.

Here's something from his latest report:

Quote:
■ Ireland, Portugal, Greece and Spain have all told the banks they are not going to pay back any of their loans because the loans were made illegally… these countries are going to “default,” and for a change it will be the bankers and not the average citizens, who will pay the price.

Interesting. Everything we get told here in the west is that each week there seems to be some new agreement on a Greek bailout. Which itself is odd that it keeps propping up all the time... I suppose each new announcement just might be a stall tactic after all.
