This is evident on the 666 bootleg, in particular. B suggests several disco fills for J to try. Not to take anything away from Jimmy at all, but Billy often had the idea in his head, and Jimmy had the technical capacity. Also not saying this was true all the time. I'm sure there have been plenty of times where B didn't know what to do with a song, and Jimmy laid down a killer groove and that was all she wrote.
