not bad for just getting back into running. i go between picking a length of time to run (started with 10 mins but 20 is good now) and going as far as I can in that time or picking a distance goal. the first thing i did on the treadmill was attempt running 1 mile. my goal today was 3.
my older cousin is a runner, too, and asked if i wanted to run a marathon with her when i mentioned getting back into it when we hung after her mom's/my aunt's memorial service last week. i didn't say yes or no--just asked "a whole one?!"--but I am thinking about it even though I only ran 5ks and shorter races when I ran competitively. I have some endurance but I mostly like to go fast.
edit: guh, i need a busy poster in front of my treadmill to help me concentrate/give me details to get lost in. i always forget to look for something until i am confronted with staring at cracks and cobwebs in and on the basement wall.
