Maybe it's just me but not sure why Mike would even make this an issue. Bearcubbin' IMHO is unlistenable and I'm sure Mike made more money in one SP gig than he'd make an entire Bearcubbin' tour. Not saying that he has to do it for the money; my point is that if Billy is basically his employer and supporting his livelihood, he should have the right to keep him from touring with other bands if he thinks at all it might cause issues with SP.
If Mike chose Bearcubbin' over SP, he deserves to be kicked out. (And I'm saying this as a big fan of Mike!)
