Moderna sounds like the next SP album.

Bill would talk a bunch of word salad about it. How it's pushing the boundaries and blah blah blah. But it will sound like the last 3 records.

MyOneAndOnly 05-05-2021 10:04 PM

I feel like shit. Head pounding. Body aches.

Fuck this 2nd dose!

ilikeplanets 05-06-2021 10:41 AM

As pro vaccine as I am, that second dose is terrorizing me in regards to vaccinating my preschooler. I'm sure I'll do it....I really hate that this exists.

Cool As Ice Cream 05-06-2021 05:16 PM

what's scary? vaccinating them for anything, or vaccinating them for covid specifically?

there are other options. One is the single dose Johnson and Johnson vaccine.

Also, the majority of people have few or no side effects.

As much as i did not enjoy some body aches and headache. It wasn't really that bad. I took some tylenol and it was gone today. Not really a big deal.

Just the newness and unknown potential side effects. I vaccinated her with all the regular stuff with no hesitation. I'll do this, too.

Disco King 05-13-2021 06:57 PM

Got dose one of my Moderna vaxy. I feel myself growing more resilient to infection with each passing hour.

Soon, I will be invincible.

and now my dad has covid pneumonia and afib and is in the hospital

who could have expected this

wife also has COVID and I had to convince her it was irresponsible to go shopping
currently trying to convince her she doesn't need to bring my dad clothes because he will be there for a long time and she would be exposing others to COVID at the hospital. and she can't see him anyway. oh and did I mention she's sick as fuck herself?

reprise85 08-17-2021 01:14 PM

RIP Eulogy, you didn't deserve this, COVID-related or whatever happened

BlissedandGone2 08-17-2021 01:20 PM

looks like boosters will be happening. looking forward to my third shot honestly. what a sad mess this has been.

ilikeplanets 08-17-2021 09:42 PM

I'm very much NOT looking forward to the booster. I had a tough time with my second dose and really don't want to deal with that again.

Big Truck05 08-18-2021 02:03 AM

Felt like Flu after dose 2. My wife felt nothing. She actually got mad at me for being sick, because she thinks it works better if you get sick. haha. marriage.

Glad I got it. No side effects for anyone I know who's gotten it. People study and dedicate their entire life to medicine and healing the world. I trust in that.

FoolofaTook 08-18-2021 07:19 AM

Canada is screwed. It's over! I'm NEVER getting the vaccine, I'd rather die.

This country is dead to me

smashingjj 08-18-2021 09:40 AM

both vaccines had little to no side-effects for me. a very mildly sore arm both times.

I've also had the 'rona, I must have at least 10g now

reprise85 08-18-2021 11:13 AM

I had no issues with the vaccine. I just heard in the USA you can get a booster after 8 months.

My dad is getting plasma and remdisivir. He said, "It seems drastic but I think I should listen to the doctor." Yeah jerk you should have listened about the gd vaccine in the first place. He still has afib and they don't think they can fix it right now but his heart rate isn't as high.

I just hope they have enough medicine for everyone who needs it and he's not taking it away from someone with a breakthrough case.

vixnix 08-18-2021 04:35 PM

I get my first dose on Sunday, finally.

We’re locked down, again. Quite over it actually

I didn't know they were still doing plasma treatment. My mom was very sick with Covid in January and had the plasma treatment the 4th time she went into the hospital. Luckily it worked - I have a feeling she would not have survived if it hadn't.

Can anyone living in Australia or New Zealand confirm the psychotic government lockdowns? Is it as bad as what I'm reading?

smashingjj 08-19-2021 04:36 AM

Yes. If that happened in America, people would act like angry infants. In new-zealand people just shut up and stay inside for a couple more days.

I guess it depends what you mean by bad. Yep, NZ got hit by the delta variant and were currently at 21 infections, so we’re locked down for a week. Sidney got hot 6 weeks ago? They dithered around with ineffective lockdowns, and they’re at over 600 new cases a day. So we don’t want that.

Are you back in NZ?

I was fully vaccinated last Thursday.

"Quite over it actually" doesn't even begin to describe it, really
