Should be fun. Hope Billy is nice.

Never been to a festival and don't plan on starting. Overpriced and too much of a chaotic hassle

Also the only band I care about there is SP

the only good thing is that there's usually a livestream situation

If you’ve never been to one I’m not sure how you can reach that conclusion. It’s my favorite weekend of the year every year.

I mean the drinks are overpriced but what can you do

I should add that the riot fest crowd is generally older and pretty chill as opposed to like, lolla or Coachella or whatever.

There's talk they are changing the name "Riot fest" to "Peaceful Protest Fest".

This festival is still going ahead?

a) SP is playing live for the first time since the Zero Statue Arena Tour?
b) Has Batio replaced Jeff?
c) There's no way MCR are still performing.

I was wondering how Toots and the Maytals were playing, considering Toots is dead.

I don't love their music enough for it to pop into my head, like, "Oh, I should listen to them," but for some reason I just have this sense that Living Colour puts on a fucking rad show

Fishbone was my freshman year roommate's favorite band and if I ever have to hear that shit again I'm pretty sure I'll go into a fugue state and act out the events of Funny Games (original German version) on my neighbors

I don't speak German but neither do they so they won't know

The increased presence of WPC on a stage sans guitar is the only tangible negative from the return of James to the band.

I hope we get some good video of the band playing Wyttch, since it's the closest Billy's got to using his old voice in years.

Also, a band called Kississippi? That's pretty cool.

Apparently Katie Cole is not playing with them this time... CYR songs are filled with her bvs, I'm not sure they would work live without her

I really enjoyed her singing the times she’s been on stage with SP or BC. Unless they retool songs from Cyr like they do to other songs from time to time it’s going to feel like something is missing. Wonder how much of Cyr they will be playing anyways.

That's a bummer. Did she say she won't be playing?
