Anne Heche doin lines in a coma til she croaks

well, she might still wake up...

White women in LA don't drive drunk, but half of them are likely high on uppers

information has been released by the Los Angeles Police Department providing further background on the factors involved in Anne Heche's near fatal car crash last week. While it was widely speculated that Heche had been under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash, tests of her blood performed at the hospital show signs of cocaine and fentanyl, according to TMZ.

Kind of sucks that public opinion today is generally "It was cruel to laugh at Britney being 'crazy' in the 2000s, and the result of a deeply sick tabloid culture," but it doesn't seem like people ever connected this to our perception of Heche, at least if the amount of "what a crazy bitch" reactions I'm seeing on social media are any indication

I mean this is just occurring to me now, I probably haven't thought about her since the 2000s

MyOneAndOnly 08-12-2022 04:11 PM

Heche's public meltdowns remind me of some friends and family of mine who have had substancde abuse issues. She was driving high on coke and fentanyl.

yo soy el mejor 08-12-2022 04:35 PM

has she had other public meltdowns?

i haven't thought of heche since the 90s until recently and just barely; it's sad she or anyone would be in a coma but she deserves to be charged if she ever wakes up. comas and money shouldn't be get out of jail free cards. hell, just put her in a prison hospital and let her wake up there. treat her like a regular person...that'll learn her!

I mean, it was in her blood. That doesn't necessarily means she was high on it at the time.

She probably was. But it would still be in her blood if she took it the day before.

MyOneAndOnly 08-12-2022 06:44 PM

she was doing 90mph in a 25mph residental street and crashed into a house. I mean... if she wasn't high she had to have been in a really bad mental state while sober

Ol' Couch Ass 08-13-2022 02:31 AM

Sucks and all but I'm just glad she didn't mow down some kid on a bike or something.

sure, i guess my reason for specifying it doesn't necessarily mean she was high is for all the other people who are assumed to be under the influence when they may not actually have been. you know, awareness that drugs in blood = currently high is not necessarily true

Joey Goldberg 08-13-2022 10:18 AM

even if she was high though, 90 mph in a 25 goes beyond doing a bit of cocaine eh? & if it was fentanyl-laced, if she was really on that much it would have killed her before she even made it to the neighborhood

Joey Goldberg 08-13-2022 10:18 AM

or so my fellow jr scientists tell me

run2pee 08-13-2022 11:31 AM

Who is she?

Glad she didn’t kill any dogs kitties pet fish or humans

ilikeplanets 08-13-2022 01:36 PM

I don't know this is, am I supposed to know who this is?

topleybird 08-13-2022 02:40 PM

I think if we're all honest with ourselves, we'd admit that if she'd done 90 mph on a 25 mph residential street and she didn't hurt anybody or anything, if she was just out there vibing and living her life a quarter-mile at a time, we'd think she was rad as hell

topleybird 08-13-2022 02:44 PM

"Anne Heche Dies After Breaking the World Record for the Cannonball Run," fuck, we'd consider her a goddamn legend and you fucking know it

Instead it's "Anne Heche Dies After Her Family Releases a Statement Saying She's Only Good for Organs Now and They're Not Even Sure Any of Them Aren't Too Shitty to Donate at This Point, But in Any Case They'll Be Pulling the Plug Shortly," and that's unfortunate

yo soy el mejor 08-13-2022 04:01 PM

this would never happen to laura dern

Disco King 08-13-2022 05:17 PM

I also had no idea who she is beyond that one Simpsons bit.

vixnix 08-14-2022 07:34 AM

I know her as Ellenís ex gf who dated men after they broke up and had one or two breakdowns

vixnix 08-14-2022 07:36 AM

vixnix 08-14-2022 07:36 AM

I feel like Ellen has a type and it is herself

vixnix 08-14-2022 07:40 AM

Wow she dated Steve Martin. Didnít know that until right now

"chapstick lesbian"

I hate her

Joey Goldberg 08-14-2022 12:55 PM

if that's the case she must think pretty highly of herself

does that mean she doesn't wear makeup?

in the real world (boston), genesis calls herself a "lipstick lesbian" and i assumed it's because she's pretty and wears makeup at a time there is still the dumb stereotype of all lesbians being butch-y

ilikeplanets 08-14-2022 07:33 PM

Chapstick lesbian is supposed to refer to being somewhere between femme and butch, to use popular terms. Lipstick lesbian would be more traditionally feminine looking, like those who wear makeup and heels, etc. Butch lesbians are obviously the opposite, short hair, masculine clothes etc.

Please realize I'm heavily aware that this is stereotyping, I am just trying to explain. Don't come for me, I'm not always up to date on my terminology.

ilikeplanets 08-14-2022 07:37 PM

Apparently it's out of fashion to use the term bisexual now, which is the only label I've ever used. I am sure there are multiple new words used to describe any exact sexuality with narrow parameters, but they just don't feel as cool as bi does.

vixnix 08-15-2022 02:56 AM

Before all the stuff came out about Ellen, I wanted to like her. Because she was a woman in comedy, and gay. Something about her has always made me feel a bit uncomfortable

I want to like her

I think itís the lack of intersectionality. Sheís gay and a woman but sheís weirdly close to being an entitled white guy or something

teh b0lly!!1 08-15-2022 04:54 AM

I am fucking furious honestly that folks like motherfuckin James Caan and Tony Sirico and Ray Liotta die a few weeks apart and none of you assholes say peep a mouse fart squeak, yet when this cunt dies and you guys lose your shit

It's a sorry state of affairs take that to mean what you want

Disco King 08-15-2022 09:35 AM

Hey, I made a Ray Liotta "In Hell" thread.

 Wow sorry you can't start threads, didn't know you pissed off the mods like that, wow

Joey Goldberg 08-15-2022 10:27 AM

it is because we are treating the Hollywood stars with Hollywood level respect & production delays - though as you can see above the Liotta thread was released it just did not meet box office expectations and, well, quite frankly we'd like to forget about it
