Why are they called Brussels sprouts anyway?
I don't like the implications of having to capitalize part of the name of a vegetable
Stupid tiny cabbages
Do they call them that in Brussels too? Or are they just sprouts there?
Why doesn't the U.S. have a vegetable named after it? It hardly seems fair. When will America have her turn?

I don't think everyone everywhere calls them that. I think in the UK they're simply called "Sprouts"
Good. I'm sick of Belgium getting all the attention
it took a career in vegetarian restaurants in an English speaking tourists overrun European capital to know that sprouts weren't the same as Brussel sprouts
I hear their beers aren't even as good as those of the Swiss

I'd like to call them freedom sprouts from now on
Did someone on this board once tell me they eat them with maple syrup? I'm still troubled by the thought

Which reminds me, this is actually part five of an ongoing series of threads inspired by edible plants
SORRY
I think they're called Brussel Sprouts cause they're ridiculously tiny and not a real cabbage

not a real country... just a highway rest stop for those on their way to invading Paris
what kind of country would let Germany keep their railroad and towns inside their own boarders (Vennbahn)? That's like an invitation to be invaded again!
At least it's not Luxembourg |
There are two real countries in Europe. Germany and France. Everything else is just an autonomous zone waiting for the next war
good luck with that murca of yours
THANK YOU FOR YOUR PITY
I am claiming German citizenship from now on. I'm only here because Trump won't let me leave.
