They refused to help a woman file suit against Biden because he was running for president and they claimed they would lose their 501c3 nonprofit status which stipulates you cannot show obvious political bias(“As a nonprofit 501(c)(3) charitable organization, the National Women’s Law Center is restricted in how it can spend its funds, including restrictions that pertain to candidates running for election". - NWLC spokesperson, Maria Patrick).

But on March 5th, 2019, they posted an article called We Sued the Trump Administration and Won. The restrictions don't just pertain to candidates running, but any political bias. They are just looking for a justification to not investigate any allegation against Biden.
