yep im a jayhawker. born in topeka. then moved to germany and then charlottesvile and came back between age 6-8 and lived in fort leavenworth. i had a fucked up experience living there but largely a good time. i loved it there even though a lot of bad things happened to me there. it was a fun place to be a kid and get in trouble. last and only time i had a dog was there. all i wanted in life at that point. fluffy, my shetland sheep dog. had to give her away when we moved back to germany.

awesome. i went into kc a lot. and yes, george brett was my hero i got to see a handful of royals games, and one chiefs game. got kicked out of one royals vs brewers game for yelling "brewers suck" through our popcorn bucket megaphones for 45 min straight.

christmas time wed go to the mall downtown kc and see the lego displays. dunno if they still do that. i miss the missouri river and the haunted barracks we lived in on leavenworth. leavenworth is one of the most fucked up places in the world. its rife with ghosts and atrocities. place fucked me up in so many ways.

the bbq was the best. miss bojangles, though i think it a chain. i love kansas and nebraska sunsets. i miss tornados and nuclear war drills. i used to play in both active and inactive missle silos. kansas rules. kansas sucks too.
