having recently purchased a top of the line laptop for more than i'd ever spent on one in my entire life, and now having to go through a learning curve in order to DYI reapply CPU/GPU thermal paste and basically reengineer the thermals on this thing myself just to get it to cool down to a reasonable idle temperature, i would like to wholeheartedly sign the petition calling for deleting dell

both the keyboard deck and the aluminum casing would get insanely hot, right out of the factory. the uncomfortable to touch, make you agitated during summer kind of hot. it would also do fun stuff like waking up from sleep in my backpack because the fans would keep working when they absolutely shouldn't. there's an endless stream of identical complaints online. Dell are just cunts and basically openly do not care.
