There are random clicks and pops throughout the recording and at first I just figured they were from a bad CD burn. Looking at the WAVs in Adobe Audition though I noticed that almost every pop occurs in the right channel which makes me wonder if it might be a flaw in the recording itself or perhaps occurred in the transfer from DAT to CDR.

I am hoping that someone with a DAT copy of this show would be kind enough to check to see if these flaws exist on the DAT itself or if indeed the flaws are from CDR gens.

Anyway, aside from the pops this is a great recording and performance so I spent a few hours and fixed each pop in Audition. It is now a far more pleasant listening experience. If there's any interest I'd be happy to torrent my fixed version but I wanted to post here first rather than spreading my 'version' unnecessarily. If anyone out there has a clean copy of this show or knows anything definite about the flaws please let us know.

My copy of this has a bunch of flaws as well, but I got it in 2000 before it was widely circulated. I believe the flaws are in the master.

Is your copy on DAT or CDR?
